Cara has been with French and Company, Realtors since she first obtained her license in Real Estate during 2006. She enjoys the process of buying and selling real estate and especially the research it includes to finding optimum values. She has studied real estate since 1992 and obtained her Brokers license. Cara believes the combination of education and experience is key to realizing all possible options toward successful advantage to real estate transactions. She holds a degree from Amarillo College in Real Estate (A.A.S.), Computer Information Systems (B.S.) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Park University, and a graduate certificate from the Carnegie Mellon University Chief Information Officer (CIO) Institute.
Cara is currently working on her dissertation for her doctorate degree in Public Administration of which she plans to utilize it in pursuing further research within real estate governance and policy. Currently, her scope of research is within the realm of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) – Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO). Cara has a high interest in facilitating with HUD properties and especially with Housing Choice Voucher Program Section 8 investments.
It is an honor to Cara to assist Veterans. She served our Country in the Army Reserves for 15 years where she gained Veteran status from activation onto Fort Hood, TX supporting Global War on Terrorism during Operations ‘Noble Eagle’ and ‘Enduring Freedom.’ Upon completing her enlistment agreement, she was presented with an Honorable Discharge. Cara also has worked on Department of Defense contracts at the Pentagon and Walter Reed Army Medical Center where she gained more inspiration in wanting to facilitate Veterans with their benefits. Cara has knowledge of the VA home loan process, including obtaining the Certificate of Eligibility and the Veterans Land Board procedures where she is approved for participation in Veterans Land Board loan programs.
